What's in every envelope

  • A personalized, character-driven letter.
  • A collectible postcard and themed stickers, along with a short activity for you to complete.

Just remember while reading that in a world touched by magic, nothing is ever what it seems…

Heiji Village

Nestled along the banks of the winding Luga River in the country called Riverstone, lies Heiji Village — a picturesque mix of lush apple orchards, bustling streets, and local traditions.

While it appears to be a peaceful place, a closer look reveals a rich tapestry of deep feelings and stories brewing in the corners.

No one quite remembers how so many different, whimsical creatures came to settle here, but together they have built a unique diverse community headed by the village chief Arvin who set up this mail club.

About the Author

Hello! Thank you very much for visiting my page!

My name is Maria and I currently reside in Tokyo, Japan.

As an 11 year old, I moved alone to another side of the world. Living without a mobile phone, I was always looking forward to letters from my mom and was overjoyed whenever I spotted a small envelope on my shelf in the morning. I still keep them, even though it's been almost 20 years since then.

Meanwhile throughout my studies and while pursuing career in STEM, I have periodically been seized by a desire to write something. However, I mostly kept resulting stories to myself or shared them only with those closest to me. To be honest, even now as I set up this mail club I still feel a little embarrassed about publishing all of these.

But recently, whilst dealing with some personal issues and, well [gestures at everything going on in the World]: it occurred to me that it might be worth giving it a go after all. In fact, there's one story in particular that I would like to tell in the form of letters, as there are certain things that can only be understood when you witness changes happening in real time, through sporadic personal interaction. This is how the idea for this mail club was born. It is also why I am not planning it as a long term project, but rather a time limited experience we can all enjoy together.

All of those monthly letters can be read independently from one another but I hope that by reading them sequentially attentive reader might spot a second theme lurking in the corners ;)
